Devotions yesterday were excellent. Ben Wolaver addressed the three common areas of sin that artists often fall into. 1. False Humility (caused by fear)("I'll let someone else do that") 2. Control ("Nobody else is taking it so I will.") 3. Jealousy (leading to idolatry). Then I had orchestra, sectionals, lunch, improv/theory, a mandolin lesson, orchestra again (that went late), choir, and bluegrass ensemble again (which ROCKS!). We had dinner at the Copper Kettle again (still AMAZING) and then walked around and found a good place to do my family's band shot. Then I rushed back to my dorm to get my cello and then I ran off to a rehearsal for the little kids' musical on Friday night. It was a lot like any of the orchestra rehearsal we had in Pilgrim except that none of the little kids were there (I mean we rehearsed from 8:30 to 10:20ish with a 10 o'clock curfew).
